Prince Chonco: From Ntabamhlophe to the Nations
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

South African gospel artist Prince Chonco has emerged as a beacon of hope and inspiration, spreading his message of faith and perseverance across the globe. Born in the quiet village of Ntabamhlophe near Estcourt in KwaZulu-Natal, Chonco’s journey to stardom is nothing short of remarkable.

Chonco’s music career began unexpectedly during the pandemic when he took a leap of faith. His powerful testimony and passionate performances have touched lives across continents. His gospel single, “Behold the Lamb of God,” became a breakthrough hit, reaching number two on the Nigerian Top 10 chart on Cool FM last year. The song continues to make waves not only in South Africa but also across the SADC region, Turkey, Ghana, and the United States.

Aside from his thriving music career, Chonco is a skilled mechanical engineer with nearly 19 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. He has been working under the mentorship of top Japanese robotics engineers. Chonco believes his dual expertise will empower him to make a difference, not only through his music but also by transferring skills to the Zimbabwean government and businesses.

Chonco’s growing influence is expected to have more visibility in Zimbabwe, with plans to share his manufacturing expertise with local business forums. His story serves as a testament to faith and perseverance, inspiring many to dare to believe in their dreams.

From Ntabamhlophe’s dusty roads to the global stage, Prince Chonco stands as a symbol of resilience and faith. With his dual mission of inspiring souls through gospel music and empowering industries through technological expertise, Chonco’s future looks bright. As he embarks on new projects and collaborations, one thing is certain – Prince Chonco’s journey is one to watch.
