Heavenly Elect Saints Ambassadors (HESA) three-day healing crusade which was hosted by Apostle Rodney Gabriel Rupiya in Rusape from 8 to 10 August 2025 has recorded over 50 souls who gave their lives to Jesus Christ.
Speaking just after the crusade,Apostle Rupiya expressed that the crusade was a success and has given him so much joy since it has brought a positive impact to the area of Rusape,Manicaland province.
“I am filled with so much joy because our crusade was a success. We were not expecting such a huge turnout in a new area but God is faithful, people were healed, delivered and above all souls were brought to Jesus Christ which Is the main reason why the son of God was crucified.
“Over 50 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ. We will continue to advance the kingdom God and win souls. As a church we will continue to restore hope, virtue, strength, gifts and people’s visions,”said Rupiya
He further highlighted that the conference also meant to create an atmosphere of refreshment, social bonding and eco-theraphy.
“We were not just after spiritual targets but we were also aimed at creating exposure time for the believers. We secured HESA Paradise Mountain so that our members can also have time to tour different sites.
“A different environment had given our members refreshment,a place of isolation after prayers and word which allowed them to meditate and to have a relief of pressure and anxiety.
“Also we had time to play games and swimming. These activities created bonding among believers.Discussions on daily issues of life were also done and this necessitated the exchange of useful solutions,”he added
The role of the church in the 21st century has become pivotal in providing emotional and spiritual support to individuals in times of uncertainty and crisis, encouraging personal relationships with God and fostering spiritual growth, offering guidance on moral and ethical issues, creating vibrant communities that welcome and include diverse individuals, developing ministries for unchurched people and those from different backgrounds and mobilizing laity for ministry and empowering them to serve others.
