Bishop Amon Madawo has been re-elected the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe’s President at the AFM in Zimbabwe National Executive Elections which were held on Saturday 10 August 2024 at Rufaro.

He initially assumed the position of AFM President in 2018 taking over from the previous leader Aspher Madziyire and he further became the leader of AFM in Zimbabwe in 2021 when he parted ways with Reverend Cossum Chiangwa who is now leading AFM of Zimbabwe.
The recently held election results have also seen Dr. C. Murefu elected as the church’s Non Executive Chairman and Elder G. Chikuni as the Treasurer General.
Bishop Madawo has travelled extensively in various countries ministering in international conferences, seminars and revival missions. He also pioneered a lot of programmes designed to empower people through humanitarian and revelation knowledge.
