Christian believers have been challenged to make impact in the marketplace, to add value on themselves through acquiring relevant skills that can allow them to earn a living not to solely put their hopes on knees.
This was said by Heavenly Elect Saints Ambassadors (HESA) Founder Apostle Rodney Gabriel Rupiya during the value creation Sunday which was held on 16 November 2025 in Crowborough with the aim of enriching the mindset of Saints so that they can dominate the marketplace.
“Marketplace is a platform that works positive to make those that carry value to flourish. Today we gather to create people of valour who are capable of doing extraordinary things in this generation.
“Our hopes must not end on knees, after prayer we must walk towards platforms of indicating value.Let us work hard using our hands and what we have so that we indicate value and live a purpose driven life.
“The problem of today’s church is that we have words but without action, let us shift from being idle and being to be agents of impact and change in the marketplace. It is not the time to continue crying pointing to the economy, you cannot change it but you can do something to create value on you and begin to develop yourself,” said Rupiya.
He further highlighted that it’s very crucial for one to discover his or her purpose and then be able to secure the value through good character and associations among others.
“In order for you to discover your purpose, you first need to have attraction to the things of God then have an appointment with God, accept the assignment, have the ambition and begin to have positive associations.
“Also after you have identified that you have the value, you need to work hard knowing that you have the capacity. The other thing that you should do especially to those who have lost hope in life, discover what you have lost and recover, be positive and do not commit suicide.
“Remember when Jesus came, he began to add value to people who already had something running, for example the disciples were already in the marketplace doing something. Today’s church seems to have no value or taking long to advance is because of our mindset that is still behind, not moving along with the reality in the marketplace. It is time for us to have a mindset shift as today’s church,” he added.
HESA is a Bible believing church and a Pentecostal movement that focuses on soul winning and empowerment of saints through men fellowships, ladies meetings and youth camps among others.
