The recently held Love Zimbabwe Festival, a three-day extravaganza hosted at Zimbabwe Grounds in Highfields, was a resounding success. The event, organized by American evangelists Andrew and Wendy Palau in collaboration with Zimbabwean church bodies, including the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Council of Churches, Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops Conference, and the Development of Apostolic Churches, drew hundreds of attendees.
The festival went beyond preaching, featuring a range of life-changing activities, including:
Medical and eyeglass clinics ,Prison outreach, School outreach initiatives , Children’s programs ,Action sports and a “fun zone” for youth and families

Evangelist Andrew Palau hailed Zimbabwe as a beautiful nation known for its God-loving people. He preached about the importance of declaring freedom from bondage and staying true to God’s word. Emphasizing John 10:1, he reminded attendees that God gives us awareness to stand firm in His promises, and that the devil prevails only when we submit to his lies.
Evangelist Palau also preached about the past, present, and future, highlighting that Christ came to deal with the past and remind us of His love in the present for the benefit of our future. He encouraged attendees to have hope in God, emphasizing that through the cross, we were forgiven (Ephesians 1).
The festival featured a lineup of local and international gospel artists, including: Ada Ehi,Minister Michael Mahendere,Janet Manyowa ,Tembalami ,Takesure Zamar amongst others
The Love Zimbabwe Festival was not limited to Harare, having been held in other cities such as Chinhoyi. The event reached over 228,000 people in person and through digital means, with 25,000 individuals giving their lives to Christ as new believers.
The festival demonstrated the power of faith-based initiatives in bringing people together and promoting spiritual growth.
