United Family International Church (UFIC) has taken a giant leap in spreading the Gospel with the grand opening of its stunning new basilica in Gweru, Mkoba Woodlands.
The commissioning ceremony was led by the anointed Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa, wife of UFIC Founder Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa. This state-of-the-art church is a testament to the power of faith and community.
In her remarks, Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa described the structure as a sanctuary of peace for multitudes.
“It is an honour to be given the privilege of building a sanctuary for the Lord. UFIC Mkoba Woodlands, led by Pastors Costa and Gladys Magweregwede, has done a wonderful thing by constructing an outstanding structure that is glorious to behold.

“This building will not only serve as a place of prayer and worship but also as a sanctuary of peace for many. It has added great value to the community, the congregation, and UFIC as a whole,” she said.
Meanwhile, some of the members who attended the grand opening and dedication ceremony of the newly built structure expressed great joy to the development saying that it is a milestone for the UFIC family in Gweru and areas around.
Pastor Gladys Magweregwede said “I appreciate our mother for gracing and dedicating the house of the Lord. It is not only her presence that we saw but she came to heal the waters of our city,” she said.
Norboth Amon said “Indeed, this beautiful church building is a testament to our Pastor C and G Magweregwede and Gweru UFIC Church’s dedication and love for the Lord’s work. May it continue to be a beacon of hope for all who enter, and may the pastors be inspired to keep spreading the word, we are forever thankful,” he said
