The Women of Excellence (WOE) Conference, organized by Divine Family Ministries International Women’s Leadership, is scheduled to take place in just three days, authorities have confirmed.
The event, dubbed “Faith in Action, Nehemiah 4:17-20,” is happening from August 15 to 17 at Nyaguve Resort in Bhora.
Speaking to Zimgospel Masters Magazine, Prophetess Louisa “Lulu” Taguta, the visionary behind the conference, said it is now the fourth year since the event came to life. This year, it comes with uniqueness, and failing to attend is a risk.
“Yes, we are in preparation mode with only a few days left to kick off the event. This is now the fourth year since the conference came into existence. It is designed for ladies, and we host it every August.”
Unpacking the message behind this year’s conference, “Take Action,” she said
“Ladies let us take action, I’m saying if we read the scripture, the Word of God tells us that Nehemiah and his people were building with one hand and holding weapons with the other because they were in a battle.”
“So I’m saying to ladies, you know your battle or what you’re fighting with. But I’m here to encourage you to keep building no matter what you’re facing. Don’t let circumstances hinder you from building or going forward. If you focus on the battle, you’ll stop building. If you focus on building and forget you’re in a war, you’ll be attacked. So balance the two,” she said.
“As much as we are praying and we have faith, we need to put our faith into action because faith without works is dead. A lot of effort is needed to sail through.”
Pastor Ellen Taguta from Kingdom Ministries in Africa International will be the guest speaker.
Prophetess Lulu said this is not just for the ladies at their church, but for every lady who is willing to learn from others; more activities are available.
“Everyone is invited, even non-DFMI members. We just wanted a place where we can get away from home, refresh and settle our minds. We have team-building games that we want to do and opportunities for mingling.”
“Women should expect to be equipped and encouraged not to tire but to take action. Forces of life are there, yes, but we don’t have a choice but to keep standing for our marriages, children, families, churches, businesses, etc. And at the end of it, we will conquer because God is on our side,” she said.
