Zimbabwe Assemblies Of God Africa Forward In Faith Ministries International (ZAOGA FIFMI) senior Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti has implored the body of Christ to embrace the spirit of Intercession saying that it is one of the key pillars that strengthens the church, brings unity and that causes God to do extraordinary things with people.

She was speaking to thousands of ladies who gathered on 18 Novembee 2025 at ZAOGA AMFCC in Glenview, Harare for an International ladies special Tuesday , an interdenominational meeting which was organized to gather women from different denominations for the purpose of prayer, fellowship and networking.

Teaching from the book of 1 Timothy 2:5 which says ” For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”, Archbishop Guti said that God honors Intercessors and he loves to do things for his children when there is someone to intercede.

“Intercession means to stand for another, this is when one stands in the gap for someone. For example Moses stood for the Israelites to facilitate their redemption from Egypt. Also, when God wanted to save and deliver the world, he sent Jesus to stand for humanity.

“This are the signs that God honors Intercession. It causes God to be moved and to do extraordinary things that he would not do otherwise. It also brings unity in the body of Christ.

“So as women. Let us embrace the spirit of interceding for our children, husbands, servants of God and our nation so that we can be loved by God,”said Guti

She further taught about how one can become an effective Intercessor expressing that righteousness and forgiveness makes one to be accepted by God as a vessel that partakes in pleasing Intercession.

“Intercession is not an ordinary thing and is done through prayer. So inorder for you to be an effective Intercessor, you need to have a clean heart that pleases God.

“Firstly, you need to forgive.Do not hold grudges and offenses, your heart must he pure and you need to forgive people and confess every transgression. Our relationship with God must be upright and undisturbed,”she added

Tuesday prayer meetings for women in ZAOGA are large gatherings of many women from around the world, both physical and online. The prayer meetings form part of the “Go Quickly and Tell” Women’s Ministry within ZAOGA, which focuses on empowerment, intercession, and companionship among women in faith.
