In a milestone achievement, the government will consider including the recently launched book How Beautiful the Feet That Bring Good News, penned by Sister Ferrara Weinzierl will be reviewed and welcomed in the school curriculum, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Torerai Moyo has said.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sister Ferrera Weinzierl OP for her meticulous research and dedication to preserving this important chapter in our history and notably, the book will be reviewed and welcomed in the curriculum in our schools.
“The Dominican Convent High School Harare has, indeed, had a profound impact on Zimbabwe’s education system, producing well-rounded individuals who have gone on to excel in various fields.
The Roman Catholic is a respected church with traceable history of complimenting government efforts since its inception in Zimbabwe in education, health and social services.
“Its rich history, academic excellence and commitment to holistic development make it a revered institution in Zimbabwe.” said Moyo.
The book is commendable as it rich in preserving Zimbabwe’s educational history, a lasting legacy that underscored the value of safeguarding history for the future.
