Archbishop Paolo Rudelli Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See has paid a farewell courtesy call on President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House this morning.
The Archbishop, a diplomat of the Holy See, served in Zimbabwe since January 2020 appointment by Pope Francis to Zimbabwe as his representative.
After representing the Pope For 3 years Archbishop Rudelli will begin his new mission in September 2023 in South American nation of Colombia.

At a farewell reception, the Apostolic Nuncio said he is “very proud of the work of the Church in Zimbabwe and its dedication to evangelization and the promotion of the welfare and the common good in this country.”
“I will keep among my memories the visits to the schools, missions, hospitals all around the country witnessing the presence of the Church especially in the most marginalised communities.”
