Clara Madzinga-Chiseko is the new Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, breaking a 63 year old record as the first female to take reigns at the helm, ushering a new dispensation and trust in woman leadership and inclusivity.
This development has been welcome by the EFZ secretariat and the broader fellowship as a celbration of trnsformative leadership with such a pardigm shift. Congratulatory and solidarity messages from all over are pouring, a sign of confidence and expectation that she will bring positivity in the organisation.
Pastor Clara’s appointment is a strong highlight as a personal achievement and recogntion and faith in women leadership into the future with great optimism.She is facing the promotion of evangelism and church planting, humanitarian services and relief services, women and yout empowerement, leadership and community development with optimism.
EFZ believes in gender equality and has a number of programmes that promote women and girls child empowerement on spiritual growth,, community service and economic empowerment. Such initiatives aim to inspire women and promote leadership amongst women. EFZ has pledged to provide mentorship, skils and experience for women entering leadership.
The Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe was launched in 1960 ith the aim to promote unity, fellowship and coopreation in ministry among evangelical churches from variuos denominations. It promotes evangelism, discipleship and community service and engagement in Zimbabwe.
