The kingdom of God is counting it joy as the great harvest of souls is happening at the Christ Encounter Movement‘s reviving prayer crusade in Marondera as many surrender their renewed and transformed lives to God.
Speaking during the crusade, Christ Encounter Movement, visionary Apostle Doyin Layade emphasised that a new beginning in life starts with Christ and the renewal of the mind.
’’A new beginning without Christ is like setting yourself up for failure. You need to have Christ first if you want to be successful when you decide to start a new life. A new beginning require a new mind sets, when you change your mind you will begin to live a new life, seeing things that are ahead.
‘’It is a new battle for you to start something new. You must contend to breakthrough to your new beginning. Prayer is a necessity to give birth to a new beginning. In 1Kings 19:41-45, Elijah prayed until the manifestation of the abundant rains, marking a new beginning.
‘’It is a new beginning for Marondera, a new level of glory, rising voices, restoration of people and organisations and prayer revival.’’ he said.
Apostle Layade further expressed their commitment to break denominational barriers by instilling the spirit of unity in the body of Christ of Christ through interdenominational prayer meetings.
‘’As a movement we also aim to unite the body of Christ. Serving God is not about a denomination that is why we are launching prayer sessions that are open for everyone.
‘’We are going to be doing these crusades around Zimbabwe and through working with other churches in those communities and establish prayer groups. It is time that nations must rise in prayer to fight and defeat the kingdom of darkness, ‘’ he said.
