Love is central to the growth of the ministry, Apostle Mauramba says

“For every ministry to grow, stand firm and remain united, love should be prevailing at its highest love among the congregation,” Apostle Michael Mauramba has said.

The family deliverance service which was hosted by Grace of God International Ministries (GGIM) on March 16th in Glen Norah, Harare has drawn hundreds of people from across the country, with the special message by the visionary Apostle Michael Mauramba having been that of unity, peace, love and forgiveness among believers.

Taking the sermon from the book of John 11, Apostle Mauramba explained the love which was demonstrated by Mary the sister of Lazarus when she anointed Jesus Christ’s feet with the most expensive perfume saying that love pushes one to go an extra mile in serving God and in doing good for other people

Apostle Mauramba said that when there is genuine love in the church, there is no room keeping grudges, hatred and gossiping rather the word of God grows mightily.

“Love is the art of worship God first loved us that is why he gave Jesus Christ to die for human race. When you love someone, you do not struggle to forgive, to give or to associate well with other believers.

“The bible says love conquers all. If you love someone you are a great blessing to others. As Christians we should be a blessing to others. Make sure that you have other people in life who will be pointing at you testifying how positively you have impacted their lives.

“Now when love is part of the congregation, it is very easy for the power of God to flow. Also it promotes unity in the church therefore it becomes easy for that ministry to grow since believers will be working with the one spirit and one goal in unity to advance the kingdom of God,” he said.

Meanwhile, speaking during the testimonial time, Pastor Hellen Takaendesa expressed that the teachings of love should always be given in the church and embraced more saying that when believers are full of love even when one falls in a situation, believers will be able to give a supporting pillar.

“Surely the love of God should always be part of our lives as Christians. I truly know that when the body of Christ stands with each other especially during trying times, the burden becomes very light for the one who is in a situation,” she said.

One of the believers also added “Love forms the basis of Christianity. The Bible says God is love and if we say we are the children of God we should love. Noone can say he or she is a child of God if love is not part of their lives,” he added.

The big family deliverance and prophetic service was held few weeks before the church’s mega 12th anniversary celebrations which are scheduled for April.

Matthew 22:37-40 (NIV)says “And Jesus replied, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
