March is a month which is unique from others in a sense that it was gazette to recognize the mighty works women are doing throughout 31 days of the month. It is the time we see women showcasing their ability to lead and teach, from community, national to international levels.

Ms. Ruvimbo Zhewe, through the initiative Tavetose Management Consulting, has set to host the 2025 Women’s Expo, which will run from March 26 to 29 at Botanical Gardens.

The expo aims to connect, learn, and thrive, encompassing twelve crucial facets of womanhood, reflecting a deep understanding of the multifaceted lives women lead.

In an interview with Zimgospel Masters, Ruvimbo, who is also the chief executive officer for the initiative, said it is rooted in the recognition that women’s empowerment transcends single-issue focus.

“Tavetose initiative is rooted in the recognition that women’s empowerment transcends single-issue focus. By addressing areas like health and wellness, finances and investments, and spirituality, the expo acknowledges the holistic well-being of women. Similarly, the inclusion of relationships, community, and environment, underscores the importance of interconnectedness and social responsibility.

“The expo also champions personal and professional growth through segments dedicated to beauty and fashion, career, intellectual/education, leadership, and business. By providing opportunities for symposiums, networking, and exhibitor showcases, Tavetose aims to equip women with the tools and resources necessary to excel in their chosen fields,” she said.

The March 29 event will feature an exhibition, “She Slay,” picnic, and braai, with a stylish hat dress code, promising a celebratory atmosphere that fosters camaraderie and sisterhood. This blend of informative sessions and celebratory gatherings ensures a well-rounded experience, catering to both the intellectual and social needs of attendees.

Tavetose’s vision extends beyond a mere gathering. By facilitating access to early bird tickets through multiple channels she added.

“In essence, the 2025 Women’s Expo, driven by Tavetose’s vision, is designed to be a transformative experience. It’s a platform where women can connect, forge meaningful relationships with like-minded individuals, learn, gain valuable insights from experts and thought leaders, showcase, promote their businesses and talents to a wider audience, celebrate, embrace their achievements, and enjoy a sense of community and find inspiration to pursue their personal and professional goals.”

By addressing the diverse needs of women, Tavetose is not just hosting an event; they are building a lasting legacy of empowerment and support, creating a space where women can truly thrive.

Ruvimbo Zhewe, who is behind this program, holds degrees in economics and finance from the University of Cape Town. She was awarded the “Agent for Change in Agriculture” for spearheading an agro-scoring platform implemented in the tobacco sector. Prior to founding Tavetose, she led the implementation of significant financial technology projects in Zimbabwe, including the first electronic money email with Tetrad and XDS, the first 3rd generation credit reference in Zimbabwe. She has extensive experience leading projects with blue-chip companies in Zimbabwe, with key areas of expertise including taking IT projects to market and donor fundraising.
