Sharing her expressions,Pastor Kwenda said as a new Pastor at the Assembly, she will be doing more of youth programmes to include the young people, women meetings which will be a facility for women empowerment, door to door soul winning and more of open air crusades.
“I am so humbled and honoured to be elevated and I am grateful for the warm welcome that the church of God at Mt Pleasant gave me.
“As any other Pastor’s desire to see the kingdom of God expanding,I bear the same craving and passion to have more souls brought into the kingdom of God. So I am going to be having more programmes and services that are inclusive of all as they will be a hub for preaching and sharing the undiluted gospel of Christ.
“As we all know that drug and substance abuse has become a pandemic,we have youth camps that will be coming, all this aims to save our young people from drugs and they will know the word and the right ways of God.
“Moreover, door to door soul winning sessions have already begun in order to penetrate into the society with the word of God. Also we are organising to have more of open air crusades as we head towards touching many souls,” said Kwenda
Speaking about women empowerment Pastor Kwenda said that “The word of God is important in one’s life but there are some necessities that are needed for daily living therefore It requires someone to be working. As a result our youth meetings are not ordinary but a facility for women empowerment on which we will be teaching them how to work using their hands so that they can be self-sufficient,self-reliant and supportive of their husbands. This will also help to bring peace in homes hence reducing gender based violence,” she added
