Reverend Dr. David Phiri, the Principal Director of Brilliant Saints Theological Seminary, taught the graduates during their graduation that they should practice respect within themselves before seeking it from the people they lead.
Addressing to the students as he presented certificates at an event held in the capital, he told the pastor graduates to respect the people they lead before seeking respect from them.
“Respect is of great importance. I’m so happy you’ve completed your studies and are now going as far as you can to lead. First, create respect within yourself. Learn to respect the older people you lead, the wives and husbands of those you lead.”
“Don’t try to solve matters that aren’t yours. If those matters need you, fine, but if they need a husband, wife, or a congregant, learn to follow,” he advised.

The director presided over the ceremony and attended by distinguished guests including Apostle Victor Magwera, Secretary General of the International Preachers Council of Churches; Prophetess Hodza, Church founder; Bishop Mutambi, Director of Ceremonies and Apostle Season.
A total of 28 students graduated, with 15 being ordained into different ministries. The graduates were encouraged to respect the Word of God and to complement government policies and efforts towards national development. Rev Dr. Phiri emphasized the role of the church in fighting drug and substance misuse, urging graduates to join hands, unite and complement each other in their ministries.
Apostle Season delivered a powerful sermon on how to honor the anointing, inspiring the graduates to walk in the ways of the Lord. The ceremony was further enhanced by the musical talents of the BMC Choir group, who sang angelic melodies that filled the hall with joy and praise.
The ceremony also recognized the achievements of outstanding students. Barbara Nyikadzino was awarded Student of the Year 2025, while Constance Mucha was recognized as the Most Brilliant Student. Irene Primrose Hondo received the Excellence Achievement Award. The college achieved a remarkable 90% pass rate, an improvement from the 82% recorded in 2024.
Constance Mucha, who graduated with a Diploma and also emerged as the best student in her faculty said,
“After finishing my teaching profession, I thought I had really made it in life, unknowingly, that life is not only about degrees and papers.”
“If God has called you or wants you to do His assignment, He will follow you even if you hide,” she added.
“I am grateful to have started my spiritual journey with this college; I have learned a lot of things, including managing anger issues and other things.”
