Soul Healing International Church, led and founded by Apostles Lawrence and Juliet Mutinhima, celebrated a decade in ministry through a 3-day conference which ran from Friday and ended on Sunday at Red Cross High School along Kambuzuma Road in Harare.

Addressing hundreds of multitudes that were gathered to celebrate on the last day, Apostle Lawrence Mutinhima thanked God for the journey they have moved so far as a church, and he said he noticed some noticeable changes.

He said the church has emerged from scratch, directed by God and not from other churches or from an act of rebellion.

“We are gathered here to celebrate where the Lord has taken us. We are so grateful as we notice some notable changes since we established this church. Thank you to those who walked with us since day one.”

“Let me assure you that this church doesn’t come from another church, nor emerged following rebel acts or disobedience, it was just started by three people, my little family and Pastor Mhlanga joined us.”

“10 years is not an easy journey but God kept us through till this date. I dedicate this church into the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is His church and I hope He will continue to bless us.”

Apostle Mutinhima said the church has spread its wings all over the world according to its mandate.

“We are growing not only in Zimbabwe but internationally as per our mandate. We now have several branches here in Africa including various assemblies in Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, and South Africa. We have prayer groups in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, and India; the growing is inevitable.”

Pastor Mhlanga, a long-serving minister in the church, has acknowledged the humbleness of the visionaries which kept the church standing even up to date as she knew them from the beginning.

“I met the Apostles long back in 2013 as friends. I thought Apostle Lawrence Mutinhima is just an ordinary man, my friend but later on I realized he is not.”

“The man is very stable, unchangeable, very stable and consistent. Prayerful, loving are in his character,” she said.

Apostle Juliet also took time to reflect on the hardships and achievements they made on the road of 10 years.

“The man of the house remained steady. He is a loving father, sometimes we go to preach to our fellow colleagues in Christ, you hearing their women complaining about the way they leave beyond the pulpit, they are enduring vestiges of abuse from their husbands so called pastors, prophets, apostles but my man is not like that this is the reason why our church is growing rapidly.”

“The journey as many people are saying was not easy. Some people open church for money but to us it was a different story, we took loans from work inorder to put things in place.”

“I believe that 10 years is just a beginning, we still have a lot to achieve. Many thanks to all church departments who are working tirelessly to put church into normalcy.”

The conference dubbed “Holy Ghost” was attended by church members from various assemblies in Zimbabwe and visitors from Malawi. Other international assemblies attended virtually. The Apostle ended by ordaining 3 pastors, one from Zimbabwe and 2 from Malawi.

Pastor Tanyaradzwa Jack and Minister Tanaka were the directors of the service.
