The Synagogue Prayer Room of All Nations (SPROAN) has clocked a decade in ministry, acknowledging God’s grace, unity and harmony since 2 February 2016.
Speaking in an interview with Zimgospel Masters magazine, the founder and visionary of this church said it’s amazing to see a gathering of four people at a house grow just like a mustard seed in a short space of time, and he points to God’s grace as the catalyst for this rapid growth.
“We started with just four people in a humble house. It’s amazing how God grew us like a mustard seed! God’s grace has been our foundation. Ten years in, we are grateful for the journey. We are excited for what’s next.”
“Looking back, it’s God’s grace that took us far. From a small group to a thriving community. We didn’t do it – God did. A decade of growth shows His faithfulness. We praise Him for this journey.”
The man of cloth said the church now has more than 300 members across the country with six branches spreading mainly to Sedze, Nyatate, Hwedza, Royden and Churu farm centers, here in Zimbabwe. And they are still continuing with the mandate of bringing back lost souls to the Originator who is God.
The church has slated Sunday, 1 February, as a day of celebration of this milestone, opened by a conference dubbed Ebenezer graced by renowned Christian figure, the leader of Heartfelt International Ministries, Apostle Tavonga Vutabwashe.
The church has been doing numerous projects to empower young people, women, and older people. One of the notable achievements is that they opened a cleaning company in order to employ those who are unemployed. Various charities have been put in place to help old people with food and other necessities at Pa Bako reDonhodzo.
Youths who are indulging in drugs are being helped.
Woman of Today Prayer is a latest program gazetted for women, and they meet every Tuesday to worship God as women only.
“We are committed to empowering our community. Our cleaning company is giving jobs to those in need. Helping youths overcome challenges is a priority. We are feeding the elderly and supporting them. God’s love drives us to serve.”
“Empowering women, youth, and the elderly is our mandate. Woman of Today Prayer is transforming lives every Tuesday. We are tackling unemployment with practical solutions. Reaching out to those struggling with addiction is key. We are making a difference one life at a time,” said Munemo.
SPROAN was started on 2 February 2016, with only four people in Highfields, Harare, near Highfield 2 High School and to date, that is where the headquarters is.
