Today’s Woman 2025 conference empowers women for E-commerce

Women can grow their business brands, build customer relations and loyalty by embracing technology as a digital marketing tool as success can help them cut the dependency syndrome on men, Tofara L. Chokera, Chief Executive Officer, award winning digital transformation expert, entrepreneur and founder of Tofara Online Trust has said to thousands of women attending Today’s Woman conference 2025 themed “Today’s woman, serving God in her generation with fear of the Lord”

“We have gathered today to share knowledge with each other as women and to teach one another on how we can upgrade ourselves and expand our business activities. I am very confident that all of us here we have something to do. Some do vend, some are public speaker and some are businesswomen and some are writers. So, I am h ere to challenge you that you can grow your trade or business by embracing technology and social media for digital marketing.

“WhatsApp for example is very cheap and is one of the means that you can use to advertise your products, build a brand and create your market. Do not be left behind with this technology. Some are using social media for useless purposes such as expressing their emotions, but today I bring you a positive message to say begin to use it for a benefit to you,” she said

Meanwhile, the visionary of Today’s Woman Conference Senior Archbishop Eunor Guti of Zimbabwe Assemblies Of God Africa Forward In Faith Ministries International (ZAOGA FIFMI) called for unity in the body of Christ towards empowering one another and building meaningful families. grow their business brands, build customer relations and loyalty by embracing technology as a digital marketing tool.

“We gather here as churches to empower one another. It is sad that these days issues of drug abuse are affecting communities. We are preaching the message that only Jesus and the word of God can change a human being.

“I am urging all the churches here to carry the positive message of Jesus Christ and of shunning drugs back to their churches and that if we unite and stand together as churches, something will work out. Let us work together as the body of Christ to build strong and peaceful communities,” she said.

One of the attendees who shared her experiences with the conference said “The conference has already transformed my life. We were taught that a wise woman prays for her family and works for her children. The most important lesson that I learnt is that as wives we should be supporting pillars to our husbands.

“Working with our hands has also been identified as key especially in this time when things are going up and down across the globe. As I am going back, I will be applying everything that we were taught so that I can become a woman of impact, “she said.

The Interdenominational conference ran from 4 to 6 September in Glamis Arena, Harare and entertainment was provided by a Nigerian singer Sinach, Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave,Evangelist David Mabvuramiti, Minister Thandazani and Faith Makoni. The Today’s Woman Conference was founded by Senior Archbishop Eunor Guti in 2007 with the mandate of creating a platform for women empowerment and fellow
