Women Urged to not Despise Humble Beginnings
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Women should support and stand with each other and avoid despising themselves to start the business of their passion as success boosts their self-confidence, Mrs Karen Tendai Mutasa has said during the empowering modern women entrepreneurs’ seminar

‘’I believe women should have money because it gives their family confidence and people will respect them. Do something out of passion and do not despise yourself and humble beginnings where you are and build your brand step by step,’’ she said.

She said her vision is for women to prosper in business and everything they do, they should come together and help each other in terms of business.

Rumbidzai Magaya the founder of Mummy and Baby Neo’s carts, urged women to know the right people to associate with, represent their brand wherever they go, have a positive personality, identify peak seasons through having a business calendar and to put God first.

‘’Identify the right people to talk to, even to share your victories and know people that will push your business to the next level. Wherever you go, represent your brand and do it very well in such a way that people will always remember you and enjoy what you do because a positive personality attracts the right people.”

‘’If you are in business, plan your things well, identify your peak seasons through having a business calendar and in business there are times where you feel discouraged because we expect our friends, family to support our business but let God do it for you,’’ said Rumbidzai Magaya.

Nyasha Josephine, the Project Manager and Co-founder of Garikai Health, emphasised the need of consistent and standard of excellence in business whereas Ms. Munemo talked about succeeding in a competitive environment. in which she said be good at what you do, start with God, be innovative, improve your business and personal skills.

‘’Consistent and standard of excellence in terms of marketing your business is key as it will determine your business because customers will come through the way you handle them. Therefore, you need to start what you can do specially to start with God, be innovative, improve your business and increase your personal skills,’’ said Josephine.

Meanwhile Ms. Munemo, the founder and director of Zarrow Aesthetics, said there are times you find yourself in very unlikely situations but it is very important that inasmuch as you want to pray, you go back to God with your strategies

‘’In business there is always competition but stay relevant, have structures and well-trained people that are able to stand in your way, improve your skills and put effort in. Also be tactical with issues that may arise in business,’’ said Munemo

Paidamoyo Maringwa, a network marketer and award winning entrepreneur and the founder of HubDellas Baby store, emphasised on how to differentiate when someone presents a business to you, one should know if it’s any amazing opportunity or a Ponzi scheme and to understand that success is not by accident but you succeed intentionally hence one should build herself from the inside because what you give out is what you have inside you. She also emphasised on how people become who they are now because of whom they spend their time with.

‘’There has been confusion between network marketing business or a Ponzi scheme hence women should be able to differentiate if someone wants to scam their money. The people you spend time with, the books you read, the songs you listen to, everything else builds the person you are so at the end of the day what you say is already inside you’’
