“Not everyone has been called to Pastor a crowd, some have no capacity and discipline for the crowd so do not try to be like somebody, just be yourself in ministry,” Omega Fire Ministries President Apostle Johnson Suleman has said
He was speaking to hundreds of gospel ministers who recently gathered in Harare for the Ministers Conference which was hosted just after the Zimbabwe Outpouring 2026 Crusade hosted by Omega Fire Ministries International and partners.
Apostle Suleman expressed that gospel ministers should fully understand their callings and area of assignments so that they can be able to rightfully furnish themselves and become effective in carrying out their God-given tasks.
“Do you know that some people do not pray for the crowd but it just come by God’s grace. Not everyone is called to pastor a crowd, some have no capacity and discipline for the crowd and such people if crowd comes, that is their fall down in ministry.
“Jesus did not have a crowd but had a multitude. You must understand that there are people before God who are the 100 but are more rewarding than a person who has a 1000 people. It is God who rates greatness not men so do not be in a competition of a crowd but just do your assignments faithfully,” said Suleman.
Apostle Suleman further challenged gospel ministers to furnish themselves, to equip themselves so that they become Instrumental in advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“God wants his ministers furnished. Ministry is a task. It is God’s duty to call you but it is your duty to furnish yourself, equipping and preparing yourself is a necessity.
“This is how you furnish yourself as a gospel minister: firstly you need to have fervency. This is when you have a radical approach to the things of God, be disciplined, determined and be humble. Never grow too big as a pastor that you are now bigger than going out in the street for evangelism.
“You should also remain faithful to God both faithfulness times intimacy with God and financial faithfulness. Also remain focused, this is when you have an undivided attention. Focus enhances productivity. On your way to your destiny there are side attractions but when you fall for them they become your distractions, not every inscription demands attention,” he added
