The atmosphere was electric, filled with pride and applause as Commissioner Daniel Kasuso recognized those whose efforts had gone above and beyond.
Leading the charge was Blessing Mariyano of Glen Eagles Society, Harare Central Division, who was crowned King after raising an impressive US$1,050. His achievement symbolized not just financial success, but the spirit of perseverance and service. Close behind, Tapiwanashe Makarawu of Waterfalls Citadel stood tall as 1st Prince with US$500, while Brian Nkhoma, Innocent Madimutsa, and Munashe Chitando shared the honor of 2nd Princes, each contributing US$300. Runners-up Phineas Nkomo, Tapiwa Machinga, and Dylan Kapfudza also earned recognition, each raising US$250.
At the group level, Harare Central proved unstoppable, bringing in US$4,117, followed by Midlands (US$1,468), Hurungwe (US$685), and Mhondoro. Together, these collective efforts propelled the Young Men’s Trust Fund to new heights climbing from US$14,279 in 2024 to US$20,917 in 2025, a remarkable increase of US$6,638.
Beyond the numbers, the event was a testament to the power of unity, faith, and youthful determination. With banners waving and certificates held high, the crowned winners embodied the theme of being rooted in prayer and commitment. Their success story is not just about funds raised, but about the light they carry forward for their communities.
