Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) in Zimbabwe received two vehicle and a 36-seater bus from the hand of President Mnangagwa as he opens Vineyard Assembly in Knowe, Norton, a celebration of a milestone achievement in accommodating its growing membership.
“It was a profound honour to arrive in Knowe, Norton to officially commission the Vineyard Assembly of the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) in Zimbabwe.
“The church remains a vital pillar of our nation, serving as a moral compass, fostering social cohesion and driving community development.
“To further strengthen the Vineyard Assembly’s ministry and expand their community outreach, I am pleased to have supported their construction efforts and to hand over a new 36-seater buss along additional ministry motor vehicles,” he wrote on social media post.
This gesture from government is complementary to the role the church plays in promoting unity, peace and national development.
“I urge the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM), together with other churches, to remain steadfast un upholding the values and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Let us continue to do good, serve others with compassion, promote peace and unity, and inspire hope as we work together for the betterment of our nation,’’ said President Mnangagwa.
AFM in Zimbabwe is currently under the captainship of Bisho D. A. Madawo after slitting in 2018 after major constitutional reforms on governance and leadership transition. The other faction is being led by Reverend Cossam Chiangwa.
