The Zion Christian Church (ZCC) marks its Golden Jubilee by a conference in Defe Dopota shrine in Gokwe under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Nehemiah Mutendi, under the theme: Celebrating 50 Years of Grace and Jubilee Deliverance from 2-9 August 2026, a gathering drawing member from across Zimbabwe and SADC region.
There will be special commemorations on 8 – 9 August 2026.
Multitude of ZCC members and ZCC schools that include Masvisvi, Mutendi Chivanganye, Dopota, Defe, Chinobaka, Mutendi High, are actively participating in this event,
The Golden Jubilee marks 50 years since the departure of founder Reverend Samuel Mutendi in July 1976.
