Bishop Never Muparutsa, the presiding bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe (PAOZ) and currently leading the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ), has been elected as Vice President of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA), headquartered in Kenya, the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe said,

“Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) extends its warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to its esteemed President, Bishop Never Muparutsa, on his significant election as the Vice President of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA).”

“Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, the AEA serves as the regional arm of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), representing evangelical Christians across the African continent. Bishop Muparutsa’s appointment to this prestigious pan-African body is a testament to his visionary leadership, unwavering faith, and tireless commitment to advancing the work of the Kingdom of God.”

“This milestone not only honors Bishop Muparutsa personally but also elevates the voice of the Zimbabwean evangelical community on the continental stage. As a leader within the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe, his influence and experience have shaped countless lives and ministries throughout the nation and beyond.”

“EFZ expresses great anticipation for the valuable contributions Bishop Muparutsa will bring to the AEA in his new role, confident that his leadership will further strengthen the unity, purpose, and impact of evangelicals across Africa.”

He was recently elected as the Chairman of the Zimbabwe Heads of Christian Denominations (ZHOCD). His role in ZHOCD is to provide leadership and guidance on matters concerning spirituality, morality, nation-building, and good governance for sustainable holistic development through church bodies. He has traveled extensively within Zimbabwe and beyond, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with many testimonies of miraculous signs and wonders following.

Bishop Muparutsa mentors and serves as a trusted adviser to eminent religious, political, business, and social leaders within Zimbabwe. He is happily married to his friend and ministry partner, Sekai, for 25 years.

Bishop Never Muparutsa holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Development from the University of Zimbabwe, a Diploma in Humanitarian Diplomacy from the International College of Peace Studies, and a certificate in Peace and Mediation from Africa University in conjunction with the Berghof Foundation.

He is the current President of the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) and leads the Board, which oversees over 800 member organizations covering millions of Christians in Zimbabwe. He is also the Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe (PAOZ), a denomination that has been in existence for over 70 years in Zimbabwe. Within the PAOZ, he serves on the Apostolic Council and Bishops Council Boards.
