Victorious Family Church International (VFCI) founder Prophet Kudakwashe Jose on Sunday said many Christians mistake material possessions for blessings.
Speaking to thousands of congregants who gathered for a Big Sunday service themed “Deliverance and Anointing service, Prophet Jose said a lot of believers did not understand the meaning of blessing.

Preaching from Genesis 27:1, the man of cloth said a blessing was deposited inside a person spirit, which them empowers them to acquire material things or for them to manifest.
“Blessings are not what you have. But a blessing of God causes someone to be fruitful. If you are running a business, making money or getting many customers is not the blessing, but a blessing is what causes you to make money or to use your money productively,” he said.
He further said the best way to address problems faced by people, ministries or businesses was to deal with a blessing that is within rather than dealing with the entity itself.
“So, in order to come up with a solution for someone who is struggling with a ministry or business, the best way is to deal with what is inside which might be causing challenges to manifest physically. Also people focus on your area of weakness not seeing a blessing in you and that you can be a better someone if what is inside you is attended to,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prophet Jose encouraged people to take act on their dreams.
“Some people do not believe positive dreams they receive but believe bad dreams. You should act upon your positive dreams as they are important. Many people only act if they get bad dreams to an extend of even fasting against bad dreams,” he said.

The Big Sunday service attracted people from different walks of life and saw top gospel musician Minister Michael Mahendere ministering in song.
