Good morning everyone! Today’s sermon is about the art of worship.
Worship is an important part of our faith, and it’s something that we need to be mindful of both in our daily lives, and whenever we come together as a congregation.
Worship can have a transformative effect, and it’s something we should all strive to learn more about.

So how do we go about worshiping God in the right way? Well, the Bible provides some great insight on this topic.
First, let’s look at Psalm 95:2, which says, “Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!”
This passage tells us that when we come into the presence of the Lord, we should come with a thankful heart and joyfully sing our praises to Him.
The second key to worship is found in Philippians 4:8, which says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
This passage reminds us to focus only on the things that are good and praiseworthy when we are worshipping God.
The third key to worship can be found in Matthew 22:37-40, which says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
This passage tells us that when we are worshipping God, we should remember to love Him with all of our heart, soul, and mind, and to also love our neighbor as ourselves.
To sum up, the art of worship involves coming into God’s presence with thanksgiving and joyfulness, focusing on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy, and loving God with all of our heart, soul, and mind while also loving our neighbor as ourselves.
Let us use these principles to guide us in our worship as we continue to grow in our faith. Amen.
