Proverbs 20:29 (NIV) reminds us, “The glory of young men is their strength, grey hair the splendour of the old.” This verse highlights the vigor and vitality that youth bring to our communities.
As young Christians, we are called to harness this strength not only for personal growth but also for serving others and spreading God’s love.
In 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV) Paul writes, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
This verse serves as a reminder that age should never be a barrier to fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives. Instead, let us set an example through our words, actions, and unwavering faith in God.
National Youth Day is an opportunity for us to come together as young Christians and inspire one another.
Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) encourages us, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Through fellowship and encouragement, we can strengthen our resolve to live out our faith boldly.
As we celebrate National Youth Day, let us also remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God has a purpose for each of us, and as young Christians, we are called to embrace His plans with enthusiasm and trust in His guidance.
Let us pray for the youth around the world, that they may be empowered by the Holy Spirit to shine brightly for Christ and make a lasting impact in their communities.
May we, as young Christians, continue to seek God’s wisdom and walk in His ways, bringing hope and light to a world in need.
