Apostle Michael Mauramba, founder of Grace of God International Ministries (GGIM) has urged the church to provide emotional support and be a pillar of strength to its members.
He made this appeal during a Sunday service held on 12 April 2026 at the church’s premises behind Zuvarabuda Primary School in Glenorah A, Harare.
In his sermon, Apostle Mauramba said “The rising cases of suicide and depression are largely due to individuals lacking a supportive ear to share their struggles with, leading to bottled-up emotions that cause internal damage.
“It is high time that as a church we need to support each other, to introduce structures that deal with counselling in the church,”he said
Apostle Mauramba also emphasized the importance of peace and unity within the church, stating that these two elements are crucial in building a strong and sound body of Christ.
“When there is no peace and unity, progress is just a dream that will never be lived. As the body of Christ let us embrace unity and live within the culture of peace,” he added
The service was running under the theme “Family deliverance”.Grace Of God International Ministries is a Pentecostal movement that envisions to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, empower youths and women through several educational initiatives.
