The Faith In God Ministries International-Victory Life Assembly in Glenorah has on 12 September celebrated its 6th anniversary by hosting the annual Footprints of the Giants Convention under the theme “Great breakthroughs are hidden in sacrificial service.

The Footprints of the Giants Convention has been launched to celebrate the establishment of the assembly with the goal of grounding saints in the word of God so that they leave traceable and engraved footprints to the generations to come.

This year’s conference was packed with powerful renowned speakers and musicians. It was opened on Thursday 12 September with Pastor Iloona Machetu who began by sharing a powerful sermon touching the historical background of the assembly and the benefits of serving in the kingdom of God.

In his message on a Friday, the hosting Pastor Savison Machetu unpacked the theme of the cconferencee with a prophetic word to the ssaints saying “Ruth followed and served Naomi, .Elisha sacrificed his profession and oxen to follow and serve Elijah against all the discouragements from the sons of the prophets but later on received a double portion of the spirit which was upon Elisha.

“As followers of Christ we should sacrifice our lives to serve God as the Bible says whoever wants to follow Christ should first abandon his or her life,”said Machetu

One of the believers who shared a testimony after the conference said “The conference was so powerful, we learnt the word of God and that as believers we should serve God with all our hearts. We were also strengthened that although there are obstacles along the way of serving God, we should persist and persevere knowing that there is a reward ahead,”she said

The conference was on Sunday concluded by Apostle David Jonathan with a pprophetic and ddeliverance session.

In his closing remarks after he has blessed believers and anointed them for the seventh year,Pastor Machetu said”Interestingly our 2024 Footprints of the Giants Conference was a mixture of the fivefold and strategic ministries ensuring that the soul and the spirit are well fed.Moreso, the musicians did not disappoint us but ministered beyond the expectations. The excellence exhibited during the conference was superb and marked a new era for our Victory Life Assembly since we believe in discovering, developing and deploying individuals to their areas of calling. The attendance of the conference was pleasing and new souls were added to the Faith in God Ministries International family,”he said

The entertainment during the four-day conference was provided by renowned gospel musicians who include Munyaradzi Munodawafa and Admire Nago.

FIG Victory Life Assembly was launched on 2 September 2018.
