Young people under the banner of Reach Out Foundation (ROF) and young entrepreneurs on Friday joined and partook in a national cleanup campaign in Harare CBD under the theme “My environment, my responsibility”.
The exercise was also utilised to raise awareness against drug and substance abuse among the youths and to educate them about empowerment and personal development.
Speaking to young people who gathered for the exercise, ROF visionary Dumisani Hamandishe said “We are committed to create an environment which enables development and empowerment. It is sad that as we have been doing the exercise we have been picking up empty bottles of broncho and crystal methampatime and this is a situation which continues to push us to fight against substance abuse,” said Hamandishe
Other young entrepreneurs who participated at the cleanup campaign include Mr. A. Makendenge from Convenient Multisupplier and Mr Tafara Mutembedza from Techvivid Holdings.
