God’s promises are not in vain

“All what God had promised in his word and through his prophets, he will certainly fulfil it and no person or anything can hinder the manifestation of his promises,” Evangelist Munemo has said

Evangelist Gladwell Munemo, the founder of Power Of Prayer (POP) group was delivering a message to believers who gathered on Friday in Harare for a prophetic and deliverence all night prayer which was running under the theme “The siege is broken”.

Evangelist Munemo encouraged people to trust in God’s faithfulness in living up to all his promises saying that delay in receiving an answer or a breakthrough does not mean denial or that the prayers have not been received rather it is a sign that God has a process of grooming and making people ready to receive a miracle.

“God’s promises about your life will not be hindered by a person. We should know that God’s delay in responding to some of our requests does not mean that he will never respond, his delay might mean that he is grooming us and preparing and getting us ready for the miracle. We should learn first and God will give us,” said Munemo

Speaking at the same occasion as the guest of honor, Bishop Tichaona Matemai who is the Zimbabwe Christian Churches Association founder and Fire Family International Church challenged Christians to be positive, optimistic and focus on what God says not on what people say.

“I shall draw my sermon from the book of Numbers 13:25.I have come to terribly someone that God  is the God of miracles, if we have faith in him he will deliver us and change our situations.

“The body of Christ nowadays has made a problem to believe people’s reports more than what God says. I want to challenge someone to say which report are you listening to and believing. If you believe people you will be discouraged, do not listen to people It is only Jesus who brings good news.

“God qualifies someone, grace can cause you to shine and people to see what is inside you not outside, grace restores what would have been lost. As Christians let us be positive and carry a good report, you cannot bring positive while you carry negative,” he said

Meanwhile the guest musician Pastor Josh Kays encouraged people to be serious and genuine in serving God.

“Repenting from doing bad is important before God. After this service do not go back and do what you used to do which is not good before God. Serve God whole-heartedly, take it seriously and you need to preserve your salvation and your deliverance,” said Kays

The all night’s theme was drawn from the book of 2 kings 7:3-21. The all night drew people from different areas and had seen many revival of their souls.
