The Harare West Division of The Salvation Army celebrated a significant milestone with the dedication and handover of a new 2.8 GD6 twin cab vehicle. Led by Colonel Tineyi Mambo, the former Divisional Commander of Harare West and now Chief Secretary of the Zimbabwe Botswana Territory (Madagascar), the vehicle was handed over to his successors, Majors Jacob and Shamiso Nyemba.

This dedication follows a series of successful projects within the Harare West Division. Just last year, Commissioners Wayne and Deborah Bungay, the former Territorial Leaders, dedicated a Women’s Ministries vehicle, new solar systems, and state-of-the-art Divisional Headquarters offices. These initiatives reflect the collaborative efforts of the division’s officers, local officers, and soldiers.
The leadership of Divisional Youth Officer Major Mhukayesango and his co-chair, Mr. Muchenje from Malborough Corps, was pivotal in these achievements. Their dedication, along with the support from committee members and the Corps, was essential in fundraising for these projects.
Harare West Division’s commitment to its mission is evident in these accomplishments. The division consistently excels in supporting Territorial Appeals, Helping Hand, and other programs that further The Salvation Army’s mission.
