He said that Easter is a glorious day because Jesus had gone through a process that he died and he resurrected on the third day as he was raised again for our justification. When Jesus was crucified he said ‘it is finished’ meaning we were made righteous.
‘‘Jesus is our representative, his death is our death, his resurrection is our victory because as we were in Adam we were also in Jesus. Jesus brought us from being sinners to being righteous.
‘’When Jesus died on the cross, he said it is finished meaning Jesus became our representative and fought against sin and he won,’’ said Pastor James Shim.
During the Easter camp, they did various academies, gospel class, movie showing, group fellowship, Easter message, song and dance performance in which Pastor Sarah said through playing the games, congregants were learning the importance of connection to each other and that through teamwork they can also win.
Speaking to ZimGospel Masters, some of the congregants said they have benefited from the Easter camp as they understood the true meaning of Easter that they were sanctified and made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ.
‘’I have understood the true meaning of Easter that Jesus Christ became our sacrificial lamb as he died in our place and said it is finished which means that we are no longer sinners as he paid the price for our sins. We have been perfected, cleansed through the blood of Jesus so I can boldly say I am no longer a sinner but I am righteous,’’ said Pastor Nixon Kainga.
‘’From the Easter camp, I get to realize the importance of Easter that Easter is not a time that we should be angry or cry but it is a time we should celebrate the victory that Jesus got for us as we were sanctified and made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ,’’ said Lynn Kavhu.
Meanwhile Pastor Sarah said as a church they also visit the Harare Prison and Correctional Services and the orphanage in Ruwa area to share the word of God with them through bible study and mindset education.
They also have the youths’ organization which is an international youth fellowship. We believe that one’s heart change his/ her life will also change

‘’The mindset of the inmates led them to the prison but we believe that once their mindset change, their life after prison will change. We could also see the youth problems increasing in drug addiction, early pregnancy so there are many situations that can lead them in such situations but one’s their mindset is set right they will also do the right thing,’’ said Pastor Sarah.
