The theme “Lord Here I Am” is a call to surrender and obedience to God’s will. Pastor Gladys Tanyanyiwa emphasised the importance of seeking God and feeling after Him. “Feel after God, until you feel a certain way you will not feel the way how you wish to feel God” (Acts 17:27).
She encouraged the congregation to align themselves with God’s desires and tap into what He wants to do in their lives. “Know what is needed at the time you are in and tap into what is wanted by God. Align yourself accordingly to receive your breakthrough. Connect and feel what God desires from you. Do not think about yourself, think about the next generation because you could be the beginning of a new generation in your family. It is not about you! But it’s about God!”
Pastor Tavonga Tanyanyiwa shared the story of Hannah, who prayed and sought God’s presence, and was blessed with a child. The prayer of Hannah, she talked about how she was raised up from the low to up. She asked for a King for God and she was blessed with an era of King (1 Samuel 1:11). He encouraged the congregation to connect with what God is prompting them to do and to be willing to be used by God.
“You must not ask for yourself, connect to what God is prompting to you” (Isaiah 6:8). He also emphasised the importance of seeking God’s will and aligning oneself with His purposes. “God is a seeker and we are seekers. The father waits where he is for you but Jesus seeks you out as the child of God and the Holy Spirit seeks out those who are lost. Look at the story of David who was referred to as God’s friend? Be after God, God loves and cares for (Psalm 144:3).
Bishop Kasowe, emphasised the importance of prayer and seeking God’s face. “We are destined to meet God. Unto Him that answers prayer shall all flesh come before God” (Psalm 65:2). He encouraged the congregation to build a relationship with God and to stop treating Him like a distant figure.
“Stop treating God like an ecocash agent where you can’t do anything without a man of God. God loves us a lot, before anything God wants our hearts to be aligned with Him” (Hebrews 11:6). He also emphasised the importance of seeking God’s will and aligning oneself with His purposes.
“The purposes of God will always be fulfilled, pack up your cross and follow Jesus Christ” (Matthew 16:24). He reminded the congregation that God is always on time and that they should be patient and wait for His miracle.
“God doesn’t work or deal with people in a hurry. God is always on time, every time it’s you who is late. Be there long enough to see the miracle, you will not see any miracle if you are in a hurry. We are the temple of the living God. The world must know that God is in me” (1 Corinthians 3:16).
Throughout the night, the congregation was encouraged to seek God’s presence, to pray, and to worship. The event was a powerful reminder of the importance of seeking God’s will and aligning oneself with His purposes. As Pastor Gladys Tanyanyiwa said, “You can feel after God and all things will come to life as the Bible declares that the righteous will be blessed” (Psalm 34:15).
The All Night was a call to action, encouraging believers to seek God’s presence and align themselves with His will. As Bishop Kasowe said, “We are destined to meet God. Unto Him that answers prayer shall all flesh come before God” (Psalm 65:2). The congregation was reminded that God is always seeking them, and that they should be willing to be used by Him. As Pastor Tavonga Tanyanyiwa said, “God is a seeker and we are seekers. The father waits where he is for you but Jesus seeks you out as the child of God and the Holy Spirit seeks out those who are lost” (John 4:23).
