Zimbabwe-based renowned actor Charles “Marabha” Milisi who is suffering from health complications, on 16 June 2024 received donations, which among them include basic commodities from Soneni Sibanda Charity Organisation (SSCO) during a visit made by the organisation to his residential area in Epworth.

The donated items include rice, sugar, cooking oil, Vaseline, bathing soap, potatoes, salt, chickens, meal, cement, door frames and window frames.

Speaking upon receiving the donations, Marabha expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the gesture saying that it was a major relief to him and those who are looking after him.

“I am grateful to the team for coming to see me today, I appreciate the food donations and everything. Since I am on medication, the food will help me take my medication without any problem. To SSCO and the family of Zimbabwe I want to say thank you so much for supporting and loving me at this difficult time of life,” said Marabha.

Soneni Sibanda Charity Organisation, Secretary General, Thembinkosi Pagiwa, revealed that their visit was meant to assist Marabha and show him love since he has been one of the comedians who used to give entertainment to the nation.

“As SSCO we saw it worthy to pay a visit to our friend and comedian Marabha just to assist with what we have and to show him love as we wish him a speedy recovery,” said Pagiwa

Soneni Sibanda who is the Founder of SSCO encouraged Marabha to take his medication rightfully and to follow instructions.

“We are happy to see you today, I just want to encourage you to take your medication as you are always told by your health expert, just continue to be good as you recover and obey those who are staying with you,” she said.
