Trusting in God’s Protection – Divine Protection
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

As we begin this new day, let us turn our hearts towards the promise of divine protection that is offered to us by our loving Creator.

In Psalm 91:11, we are reminded of the comforting truth: “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

This verse encapsulates the unwavering assurance that God’s angels are appointed to watch over us, guiding and guarding us along life’s journey.

Let us find solace in God

In our daily lives, we encounter various challenges, uncertainties, and dangers. Yet, amidst the turbulence of life, we can find solace in the knowledge that we are not alone.

God, in His infinite wisdom and love, has assigned His angels to accompany us, ensuring our safety and well-being.

His divine protection is endless

This divine protection extends to all aspects of our existence – physical, emotional, and spiritual.

Consider the story of Daniel in the lion’s den (Daniel 6:22).

“My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”

Despite being thrown into a den of hungry lions, Daniel remained unharmed because God sent His angel to shut the lions’ mouths.

This narrative illustrates the power of divine intervention in preserving the lives of His faithful servants.

Similarly, in the New Testament, we read about Peter’s miraculous escape from prison with the assistance of an angel (Acts 12:7-11).

These accounts serve as tangible reminders of God’s faithfulness in delivering His people from harm.

There is reassurance in the presence of the Lord

In our own lives, we may not face literal lions or prison bars, but we encounter threats to our well-being nonetheless – sickness, financial struggles, relationship issues, and more.

Yet, in the midst of our trials, we can find reassurance in the promise of Psalm 91:11.

God’s angels are diligently at work, orchestrating divine protection over us, shielding us from harm’s way.

Furthermore, as we reflect on God’s promise of protection, let us not forget the role of faith in activating this divine provision.

God reminds us to be faithful at all times

Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Our trust in God’s faithfulness enables us to rest securely in His care, knowing that He is always watching over us, even when we cannot see the angels at work.

As we go about our day, let us cultivate a spirit of gratitude for God’s unfailing protection.

Submit to the will of God

Let us pray for discernment to recognize His guiding hand in our lives and the humility to submit to His will.

May we also intercede for those who may be in need of God’s sheltering grace, that they too may experience the peace that comes from knowing they are held in the palm of God’s hand.

In conclusion, let us take comfort in the promise of Psalm 91:11, knowing that God’s angels are commissioned to safeguard us in all our ways.

As we embark on this new day, may we walk in faith, trusting in the protective embrace of our Heavenly Father.

Amen.
