“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9
Good morning, brothers and sisters. Today, we’d like to speak to you about a very important topic — the fact that we are the chosen ones.

We have been specially selected by God to do His work and declare His praises. To begin, let’s look at the 1 Peter 2:9 scripture. This is a reminder that we have become part of a royal priesthood — a holy nation — and we are God’s special possession.
To understand this fully, we must recognize the historical context of this time. In the Bible, God was calling out the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, and He was specifically choosing them to be His people.
In the same way that He chose the Israelites, He has chosen us to be His people today. The fact that we are chosen by God is an important and humbling reminder of our place in this world.
We are His chosen people, and we have been given a special mission to carry out His work. We must remember that our calling is to be a light in this world — to share the good news and declare His praises.
What does it mean to be chosen by God? It means that He has faith in us — He believes in us and trusts us to do His will. It also means that we have a responsibility to live our lives in accordance with His will.
We must be mindful of our actions and strive to be examples of righteousness. We must remember that God has given us a special gift — the gift of being chosen — and it is our duty to use this gift in service of Him.
God has chosen us for a purpose.
We are the chosen ones — the people He has selected to spread His message and carry out His work. We must be mindful of this calling and strive to live our lives in accordance with His will.
We are blessed to be part of this royal priesthood and holy nation — let us embrace this calling and strive to serve Him each and every day.
May God bless you all.
