ZIMBABWE Assemblies Of God Africa Forward in Faith Ministries International (ZAOGA-FIFMI) has officially set a 30 day long celebration (mourning) from 6 July until 5 August 2023.
In an official letter by ZAOGA FIFMI Secretary General Apostle Mishael Nyambo, it was noted that all church’s lined up conferences, provincial council meetings,district council meetings, seminars and tournaments were temporarily suspended except for Tuesday ladies prayer meetings.

The 30 day celebrations(mourning) will be characterized with prayers and sharing of testimonies on how their lives have been impacted by the teachings of the faith icon.
“To mark and honour the promotion of our father to greater glory on the 5th of July 2023, the ZAOGA executive and national council at it’s meeting of the 6th of July 2023 resolved that there be a 30 day celebration (mourning) period from 6 July to 5 August 2023,” Nyambo said.
He compared the situation to the biblical story of Moses’ death, after which the children of Israel mourned Moses in the plains of Moab for 30 days.
Mourners have been advised not to travel to Harare until the official grand celebrations date has been communicated.
