Psalm 103:1 is a call to worship and adoration: “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.”

The psalmist’s exhortation to bless the Lord with “all that is within me” emphasises the depth and sincerity of worship.
It encompasses not just outward expressions of praise but also the innermost thoughts, emotions, and desires of the heart.
True worship engages the whole person – mind, heart, soul, and strength – in honouring and glorifying God.
As we reflect on this verse, let us be inspired to worship the Lord with our entire being. Let us offer Him our heartfelt praise, lifting our voices in songs of adoration and thanksgiving.
And let us also surrender our innermost thoughts and desires to Him, allowing every aspect of our lives to be a testimony to His greatness and holiness.
