Cold weather to persists, some areas receive light rain

The Meteoroligical Service Department of Zimbabwe has advised the nation to keep warm as the cold spell which started on Sunday continued to Monday and to today resulting in cloudy conditions with rain and drizzle in the provinces of Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, Masvingo, Mashonaland East, Manicaland and the Southern parts of Midlands.

Cold conditions may affect the health of vulnerable members of society and trigger respiratory-related illness such as cold, flu, hay fever and asthma.
