President Emmerson Mnangagwa has made a significant decision to extend the voting period for the general elections until Thursday, 24 August.
This extension applies specifically to polling stations that experienced delays in opening on the initial election day, Wednesday.Originally scheduled to take place from 7 AM to 7 PM on 23 August, several polling stations faced delays in opening due to the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission’s (ZEC) failure to deliver the necessary ballot papers.
