To generate funds for the school project, 12 members of the Corps Men’s Ministries initiated a horticulture project in November 2023.
The project involved fundraising, drilling a borehole, and purchasing irrigation materials. With 5000 tomato plants and 9000 cabbage plants, the initiative benefits both the participating men and the Corps.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed various agenda items, including preparations for hosting the 2024 Territorial Music competitions, progress on the Divisional Horticulture Project, and arrangements for the upcoming Easter Congress.
Chegutu West Corps, being engaged in a similar horticulture project, welcomed the Consultative board members from the Division on January 20, 2024.
This visit provided an opportunity for an exchange of ideas and collaboration.
Expressing gratitude for the commitment shown by Consultative board members across Divisional programs, the Divisional Leaders encouraged continued dedication in 2024 to elevate standards in all Corps and the Division as a whole.
The meeting concluded with a shared vision for progress and cooperation in the year ahead.
