The Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC), in collaboration with partners such as Christian Aid, the Ministry of Health and Child Care, and the Ministry of Women Affairs, organised a training session on Sexual and Reproductive Health in Bulilima district, Matabeleland South province.
On January 22, 2024, 33 interfaith leaders and healthcare workers participated in a comprehensive training program geared towards promoting safe, equitable, and gender-sensitive access to crucial basic services for vulnerable populations.
The primary goal of the workshop is to empower faith leaders to advocate for Sexual and Reproductive Health matters within their communities.
This collective effort involves collaboration among faith leaders, healthcare professionals, and government departments, fostering a shared vision to achieve universal access to essential health services.
