Environmental Management Agency Marks Africa Environment Day in Bulilima

Bulilima district witnessed a flurry of activity as the Environmental Management Agency (EMA) commemorated Africa Environment Day with a series of awareness campaigns across multiple schools in the area.

During these campaigns, the pressing issues of land degradation and the persistent challenges surrounding solid waste management took center stage. 

Pupils actively engaged in discussions surrounding these critical environmental issues, with a particular focus on fostering positive behavior change and attitudes towards environmental conservation.

The overarching goal of these initiatives is to cultivate a collective ethos of environmental stewardship and responsibility among the community. 

Through concerted efforts, EMA and the local populace aim to collaboratively safeguard and preserve the environment for future generations.
