Ladies Union under one of the big and celebrated church, Full Gospel Church of God in Zimbabwe, Saved to Serve Worship Centre-Runyararo Assembly in Masvingo has hosted their National Chairlady, Mrs Maiwasha.

Running under the theme, “Arise Women of Impact and Step beyond the obvious,” taken from the books, Esther 4:14, Judges 5:7, and Proverbs 31:30. The event left a powerful spiritual impact on all who attended.

Held at the Presbyterian Church opposite Yeukai Shopping Centre, the gathering drew women from Masvingo and surrounding areas for a night focused on spiritual encouragement, unity, and transformation. What had been billed as a life-changing experience lived up to expectations, with participants describing the night as deeply enriching and inspiring.

During the address, the guest of honour, was happy to be in Masvingo and also to see women doing serious work of God together, and she promised to visit regularly as she received warm welcome.

“I am truly honoured to be here in Masvingo. The love, unity, and commitment shown by the women of this region is inspiring. You are clearly doing the serious work of God, and it brings joy to my heart.

“This theme, ‘Arise Women of Impact and step beyond the obvious,’ is not just a slogan—it’s a call to action. We must rise like Esther, judge like Deborah, and live with the wisdom of Proverbs 31 women. Our time is now.

“After what I witnessed here today, I promise this won’t be my last visit. The spirit of excellence, worship, and sisterhood in Masvingo has touched me deeply. I look forward to growing together with you all,” she said.

Mrs Mukonori the host has extended the gratitude to the muiltitudes of women who were gathered to learn, the financial support she got for the conference to come to pass.

“I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the women who came in their numbers to be part of this powerful gathering. Your hunger to learn and grow spiritually is what made this conference a success.

“I also want to sincerely thank everyone who supported us financially. Without your generosity, this event would not have been possible. You helped turn a vision into a reality, and for that, I am truly grateful.

“This is just the beginning, together, we will continue to build, empower, and transform lives through the Word of God,” she said.

The Ladies Union expressed gratitude for the honour of hosting their National Chairlady, whose message encouraged members to continue growing in faith and service. The event aligned with the season’s theme, “Going beyond the obvious,” calling women to rise above limitations and embrace their divine purpose.

The evening closed with heartfelt worship, fellowship, and renewed commitment to the work of the ministry, marking the occasion as a memorable spiritual milestone for the church community.
