Madzibaba TP aspires to establish an Orphanage

An Upcoming Chirumhanzu-based gospel musician Tafadzwa Paridzira, largely known as Madzibaba TP has revealed his aspiration to establish an orphanage to support vulnerable children, drawing from his own lived experience of growing up without parents.

“I aspire to have my own orphanage where I can take care of orphans. I know the experience firsthand because I grew up without parents,” Paridzira said.

His journey in the arts began early, raised within the church, he participated in Sunday school, drama and the choir.

By age 12, he was already composing songs and performing in gospel-themed plays. He credits legendary musician Charles Charamba as a primary influence, noting that attending Charamba’s live shows fueled his creative drive.

“I grew up listening to Charles Charamba, and being privileged enough to attend his shows drove my passion for music,” Madzibaba TP explained.

He added that his devoted Christian upbringing ensured gospel music was always at the forefront of his mind, making it his natural choice of genre.

A multi-talented artist, Paridzira also features in gospel movie, playing King Zabhu in the film Salvation.

“I do gospel music, but I also act in gospel movies,” he stated.

Despite his versatility, the upcoming artist faces significant hurdles, including a lack of funding and limited support from established figures within the gospel industry.

Outside music, he likes farming and sports.

Paridzira expressed deep gratitude to Charles Charamba, Hosea Chipanga, and Amai Patai, thanking them for the guidance, wisdom, and upliftment they have provided throughout his career.
