Good morning. As we begin this Monday, and this week, we want to speak to you about a blessing.
Proverbs 16:3 says “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
This morning I want to encourage you to think through the week ahead and commit it to the Lord.

This is an important promise in scripture, and one that God has been offering people throughout time.
Think back to the Israelites in the desert. After escaping slavery in Egypt, they faced a long arduous journey towards the Promised Land.
For forty years they wandered in the wilderness, relying on God’s provision and protection.
In His mercy, God provided food, quenched their thirst, provided shade from the heat of the sun, and protected them from harm.
We can learn so much from this story. God is faithful to His promises, even in the midst of challenging conditions.
He will provide for us and bless us, if we trust Him and commit our plans to Him.
Now let’s look at another example from scripture. In 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat and his people faced attack from three different armies.
The king was terrified and he cried out to God for help. God responded by sending a prophet to assure them that He had heard their cry and had given them victory over their enemies.
The prophet said: “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.”
They put their trust in God, committed their plans to Him, and experienced an incredible victory.
These stories show us that when we commit our plans to the Lord, He will bless us and give us victory over our enemies.
So as we start this Monday and this week, let us remember to trust in the Lord and commit our plans to Him. May your Monday and week ahead be blessed.
