The International Preachers Council of Churches (IPCC) hosted its first seminar since its inception at Eden Garden in Harare Hatfield on the 1st day of February aimed to equip church leaders across various denominations and to pray for the country of Zimbabwe and its leaders.
During the service, Rev Dr. David Phiri, the president of the organization, encouraged unity, love, and care among church leaders, emphasizing their shared faith in one Jesus Christ and one God.
“As we gather here today as church leaders from various denominations, let us agree for one thing, unity, love, and care among us as our Father God and His Son Jesus Christ. We can come up with better results if we can work together.”
Rev. Dr. Phiri emphasized the importance of holiness and focus in the lives of attendees. He used an analogy of a zebra and a donkey to illustrate that while they may look alike, they carry different annointings.
“A zebra looks beautiful in our eyes but stays in the jungle, while a donkey may not please our eyes but has the grace to be a domestic animal.”
He urged leaders not to compete but to complement each other for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
