THE world leader of the Salvation Army, General Brian Peddle and his wife, Commissioner Rosalie, have arrived in Zimbabwe ahead of the church’s Territorial Congress which begins this Thursday and will run until Sunday.
Speaking upon arrival at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, General Peddle said they were very excited to be in the country and assured Salvationists to brace for the extraordinary congress.
“We are very happy to be with you here in Zimbabwe. We want to thank God for his faithfulness in providing our own salvation and as we come together for this great congress, we are going to celebrate what God has done for us and we invite the Salvationists to go deeper into that experience that God has given us,” Peddle said.

Commissioner Rosalie also said that as they near resignation, they were delighted to meet the local Salvationists.
“We have been here and this is our final visit.I am looking forward to meet women and young girls and I believe that God has a special message for all of us,” she said.
The Territorial Congress will run under the theme, “From Strength to Action-Together”.
